This month we celebrate fair futures for our care assistants, following your pay increase, we are putting together a campaign to help spread awareness about the negative connotation on the care industry. How its perceived as low paying and tiring, we want to to put a positive light back on it, showing how its rewarding, enlightening and you are paid fairly.

Our office staff Joe, Rob and Vicki and carer Fatou also attended the Bluebird Care awards as finalists, with Rob and Fatou coming home with awards!

Welcome to your October Newsletter, as you can see, there has been a huge change to Bluebirds branding and we really hope you love it. It has been something in the pipeline for a long time now and nationally it will be a huge improvement for Bluebirds brand presence.
This month we have a lot of emphasis on the new branding, our Alzheimer’s Society Pledge walk and an introduction to our new Health and Wellbeing section, directed by our recruitment officer, Jordan. Our General Manager, Ann Marie Bowyer, will take over the updates, with David adding his update quarterly.
As you can see, a lot of change is coming and we want you to be involved, we want YOUR ideas and YOUR help to spread Bluebirds premium message. Please make sure to respond to all enquiries, such as the vaccinations.

Welcome to your November Newsletter, the winter is approaching, meaning so does the cold weather, so make sure to read through our newsletter as it has many great tips to keep you safe during this cold time.
The new branding is well underway and has had amazing feedback. Our Customer, Recruitment and Marketing Manager, Joe attends a over 60’s Boots event to educate those on our premium services. We then find out who won the ballot in our staff survey, with loads of great feedback!
We have a new part of our newsletter, being the Health and Wellbeing section, which will be a huge focus in the future, to keep our care assistants and staff grounded and educated on how to stay active.

As we approach the close of 2024, we’re excited to reflect on what has been an incredible year for Bluebird Care. Together, we’ve accomplished so much, and it’s all thanks to the dedication and passion of our amazing team.
This year, we celebrated winning two prestigious awards at the Bluebird Care Awards, a testament to the outstanding care and commitment we deliver every day.
In the spirit of giving back, our team completed a 12.7km walk in support of the Alzheimer’s Society. It was an inspiring day, filled with determination and the collective goal of supporting such a vital cause.
We’re also thrilled to share that we achieved an impressive 71/100 in our employee satisfaction score! This places us as a highly satisfied workplace, proof of the supportive, positive, and collaborative environment we strive to create for everyone.
