Our Culture
Bluebird Care Newcastle, South Tyneside, Darlington and York takes great pride in creating a workplace and environment that enables our staff to be able to do what they do best, which is to deliver safe and outstanding care.
What makes a Bluebird
There is not one thing which makes a Bluebird, it is a collective combination, of having a caring heart, a can-do attitude, being resilient, being a smile maker, as well as having firm understanding of their job and skills needed to perform at the highest level. We have a diverse range of skills, qualities and experiences in our team.
Becoming a Bluebird is not a short lived or temporary thing, we have team members who have been with us since we started over ten years ago. A career in care can be a career for life, you will continuously build on your skills and always develop your self.
We have built a diverse team over the years. You could be a full time working mam who loves the flexbility of the shifts as she is be able to take her children to school whilst on late shift or pick them up from school on early shift or a part time nursing student who wants to gain experience in the sector whilst studying towards her qualifications. We have team members who wanted a career change and has had previous experience in care through caring for a loved one so knew it’s something they could do. The list goes on.
Our team do have one thing in common though, they are all self-motivated, well-organized and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Most of all, the crucial requirement is that you have a kind heart and want to make a real difference to our customers and their families, by giving peace of mind through the delivery of outstanding and person centred care.
